August 23 4 Book Salon for Curious Readers

Science Fiction Month

Variable Star

by Robert Heinlein and Spider Robinson

Spider Robinson and Robert Heinlein are two of my favorite science fiction authors. Spider Robinson wrote the book from a Robert Heinlein outline of a story that Heinlein never got to write before he died.

Visit the Variable Star web site to see a podcast interview with Spider Robinson and David Crosby regarding their collaboration on the book.

Why bother to read it?

It is good science fiction that mixes two of my favorite science fiction authors. Have fun with it.
