Relax and Trust Yourself

Most of us waste a lot of bandwidth and energy worrying whether we are doing something “right” even when we are. Too much anxiety is a major block to learning. This is when we need to learn to relax and trust ourselves.

Although a little anxiety is useful in focusing attention, when anxiety passes a certain threshold we go into the fight or flight mode. This reduces our ability to focus. Many times, in this situation, recovery may be as easy as taking a deep breath and letting your shoulders drop as you exhale.
