Examine Your Assumptions

Your assumptions determine the outside edge of your field of action. You don’t act outside what you assume to be true.

Many of our assumptions are made by default; we don’t examine them or their implications. It is even harder to question our assumptions when we are successful. Sometimes, even with successful strategies, our underlying assumptions can be in error.

The recent Salon books on neuroscience and the upcoming books on design were selected to encourage you to take a look at some of your assumptions.
